Accella Sustainable Platforms

Industry Awareness

What does it really mean to be green?

As sustainable and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives take center stage in today’s business world, it is increasingly important for companies to communicate their green platforms in a way that’s relatable for key audiences. BrandEcho teamed up with Accella Performance Materials in 2016 to create a series of press relations, social media, website development and blogger initiatives to advance awareness for the brand’s sustainable platforms.

Promoting Sustainable Efforts that “Give Back”

Central to the effort: presenting why it’s important for a chemical space player to “pay it forward” through eco-friendly initiatives and best practices to better protect our Planet. The agency supported Accella in achieving this goal in several key areas: The first was through promotion of the brand’s “One Tote, One Tree” customer/dealer philanthropic program that partnered with the nation’s oldest conservation organization, American Forests, to help reforest areas devastated by wildfires. The campaign was publicized through media outreach, blog posts, and social media. BrandEcho also promoted the brand’s leadership in the area of recycled, sustainable rubber crumb technology repurposed for athletic surfacing and flooring, and used in Poured-in-Place playgrounds and common areas in U.S. national parks and recreational spaces.

Additionally, the agency promoted Accella’s work in energy conservation through its eco-friendly polyurethane spray foam (SPF) solutions for the roofing and building insulation fields—developing social media, web pages and more to promote programs such as Flex House, green building and low global warming potential compliance, and other thermal energy savings through the use of responsible SPF technologies.
