The agency was tasked with managing the brand’s North American rollout, including the Blackberry app launch, and generating foundational press pieces for the technology. The HulloMail service was a free-of-charge capability allowing users to retrieve, playback and share messages more quickly, and with added user features—and it delivered a truly fresh and evolutionary new consumer offering for exploding mobile platforms. Entering a highly competitive global space, the need to secure high marks early in the launch effort from heavy-hitting consumer technology and mobile press was absolutely essential.

A pivotal piece secured by the agency in industry go-to-source TechCrunch kicked off a slew of positive coverage, in both the U.S. and U.K., which included Phone Scoop, Information Week, Wireless Week, Mobile Industry Review, and more—attracting attention and creating buzz for the brand both in the U.S. and overseas.
